7th MASKERS DIRECTORS COURSE

performed in the Green Room on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th March 1993

The performances on this course are the culmination of six weeks of hard work by the various casts and, in particular, the directors who make their debut in the ‘director’s chair’ on this occasion.

The “Director’s Course” has been part of the Company’s policy since 1968 as a way to increase the number of potential directors for major productions at the various venues used by The Company.

The previous six director’s courses have produced seven directors who have gone on to further glories with larger and more complicated productions. Who will join them after this one .......?

The Maskers Theatre Company is indebted to Ron Stannard who, in spite of running the other six, has returned to organise the seventh!! Our sincere thanks to Ron, who will lead the critique and discussions which follow the performances on each evening.
